Privacy policy

This page is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

This policy explains what data VIBE STUDIO (publisher of CoolSEO) collects, why, and what your rights are. Data controller: VIBE STUDIO, reachable at contact@coolseo.app.

Data we collect

• Free audit: the domain name of the analyzed site and the selected topic. This is public information.
• Account (sign-in with Google): your name, email address and Google profile picture, the sites you track, your plan and your credit history.
• Contact: your name, your email and your message.
• Free resources (checklist, guides): your email, your site if you provide it, and your consent to receive our emails, if given. Without that consent, your email is only used to give you access to the resource.
• Technical data: IP address, used only to prevent abuse (number of audits per day) and kept for a few days at most.

Why

To run the analyses you request, provide the service, answer your messages and protect the site against abuse. Legal basis: performance of the requested service and our legitimate interest in securing the site.

Processors

We use the following providers, each limited to what the service requires:

• Vercel Inc. (United States): website hosting and running the analyses. Transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
• Supabase Inc.: database and account management (account, tracked sites, credits, contact messages).
• Google (Gemini, search suggestions, sign-in with Google): receives the public information of the analyzed site and, for sign-in, your Google identity. Data sent to Gemini does not include your account data.
• OVH SAS (France): domain name.

We never sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising or to train AI models.

Cookies

CoolSEO only uses cookies required for the site to work (for example, to keep you signed in). No advertising cookies. If audience measurement is ever added, it will be subject to your consent.

Retention

Account data is kept as long as the account is active, then deleted within 12 months. Contact messages are kept for 3 years at most.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction, deletion or portability of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to contact@coolseo.app. You can also file a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority, or with your local authority.

California residents

We do not sell or share your personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You may exercise your rights to know, correct and delete your data by writing to contact@coolseo.app.
