Frequently asked questions
My page is indexable but doesn't show up. Why?
Being indexable doesn't guarantee being indexed. Google may find the page too close to another one, too thin, or may not have discovered it yet. Request indexing in Search Console and add internal links to it.
What's a canonical URL?
It's the “official” address of a page, set in the code. If it points to another page, Google will show that one instead.
How many redirects are acceptable?
Ideally one. Redirect chains slow the site down and dilute link value.
